So, are round shoe laces for shoes or boots?

Okay, okay. They are most commonly used for boots. But if you want strength and durability with light stretching no matter which shoe type, this is it. Plus, we have all the different size and colour options, so whether you're looking for a short length for your trainers, or long laces for your favourite hiking boots, these round shoelaces do not mess around.

Do the shoelaces fit in my shoes' eyelets, and what length do I actually need?

If there's one thing that's almost universally consistent when it comes to shoes, it's the width of the eyelets (the holes you thread the laces through). These laces are standard 4mm width and the tip is 20mm, so there are very few shoes they can't fit in. (i.e your formal shoes often have smaller eyelets: you'll want to use dress shoelaces for those).

Figuring out the proper length is pretty crucial. To find your perfect length, you want to either measure your old laces (assuming they're the length you want) or use our accurate length guide. (Note that you'll want to have approximately 30 cm on each end of the laces to make a great bow)

Or, for a quicker estimate, here are some suggestions:
70-90 cm: For kids shoes
90-110 cm: For women shoes
130-150 cm: For men shoes.
150+ cm: For men/women boots

(Note that you'll want an extra 30 cm on each end of the round shoelaces in order to tie securely.)
